This is a letter of recommendation for the exceptional services offered by Sam Chakraborty and Pericles Partners Inc. as landlord/lessor of 298 Emerson Street, Hamilton. My housemates and I have had the pleasure of leasing the house from Sam since April 2010 and intend to do so until our graduation.

 

From our first meeting, I recognized Sam Chakraborty as a straightforward and honest person with whom I would feel comfortable doing business. All of our interactions have validated my first impression, and we have maintained an excellent business relationship from the moment I expressed interest in 298 Emerson.

 

It was always comforting to know that Sam’s number one priority as our landlord was our safety and wellbeing.

As such he has consistently ensured that the property is clean and free of damages. More importantly, if any issue came up regarding the house or an appliance, Sam responded immediately and often personally oversaw the required repairs. A specific example was when our washing machine broke, it was replaced along with the drier the very next day. As a student living by myself for the first time, it gave me tremendous peace of mind to know that Sam would respond promptly to all issues regarding the house.

 

From discussions with my peers, I know that there are landlords that can take months to respond to their tenants and take even longer to respond to repair requests. I cannot even describe how fortunate I am to lease a house from Sam Chakraborty instead of a landlord who couldn’t care less about the comfort and safety of his tenants.

From the moment my lease started, Sam has provided a house that far exceeds the standards of most university houses.

 

I would be happy to address any questions from students or parents, and I can honestly and unconditionally recommend Sam Chakraborty and Pericles Partners Inc. as a landlord to any McMaster student who is looking for housing.
